Overview
The Panama Canal, Modern Marvel of the World. This tour will take you through it’s history, the people, the scenery and the engineering that allowed it’s construction and operation.
We visit:
• Miraflores Visitor Center: Located at Miraflores Locks, you will have a chance to see ships being raised inside the water elevators of the Panama Canal + 3D IMAX movie about the Panama Canal.
• Town of Balboa: former Capital of the US Territory in Panama. Photo Op at the base of the Administration Building and drive through history tour of over 90 years of US presence in Panama.
• Bridge of The Americas: was the first bridge built over the Panama Canal, connecting the Panamerican Highway to South America.
• Amador Causeway: former US Military Base that stretches two miles out to sea. Has the best view of the Panama City Skyline and a great photo op with the big PANAMA sign!
