Punta Culebra
Nature Center

Punta Culebra is the Smithsonian Tropical Research Insitute’s Nature Center, located at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal and is dedicated to exploration and discovery of the natural world through science. And there are Sloths all over the place.

Fabulous frogs

Tree frogs, poison dart frogs and even Panama’s legendary Golden Frog can be seen here.

starfish & Aquarium

Tanks and tide pools with a variety of aquatic creatures from all over. Even Nemo and Dori.
