Overview
This tour includes the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites inside the City of Panama, encompassing over 500 years of history in the american continent.
We visit:
• Panama Viejo (CLOSED MONDAYS): Museum and walk through the ruins of the first european settlement on the Pacific, site that was destroyed during an actual pirate raid back in the 1600’s.
• Casco Antiguo: Walking tour of the restored and renovated spanish colonial settlement, second site of the City of Panama. Amazing colonial architecture, churches, and plazas. Also a great chance for shopping local arts & crafts, souvenirs and the world famous Panama Hats.
